Jenny's Story
Over time God has blessed me to expand my passions, talents, gifts, and knowledge beyond writing music. It is my desire to share these with others, to help them discover their own.

Most recently, I am the volunteer director at our local FamilySearch Center. Curriculums and classes have been written and produced locally. As a genealogist that desires to teach others, I plan to make the curriculum available online as well. For now, I am offering in-person classes to middle and high school homeschoolers.

Homeschooling as been a major part of my life. For 17 years I taught my children and other children the joys of learning. It has been a tender time to let go of that season of my life. It has been transformational to understand the Well-Educated Heart way of learning. Now God has placed it on my heart to take the knowledge He has blessed me with and offer classes to the youth in my community. This will bring such joy to my teacher heart.
One area I have studied is Emergency Management and in 2018 I became a certified Incident Commander through FEMA. In addition, my husband and I trained for CERT together. This knowledge has given me the opportunity to help others prepare for potential emergencies by having their daily lives ready and organized; including building supplies and skills such as canning, breadmaking, shelters, and more. There is a curriculum book written for the purpose to educate others, so watch here for that. Until then, you know by now what I am going to say. Check here for the class.

My greatest joy comes from that of being a wife and mother. Married nearly 29 years to my best friend, we are parents of four incredible young adults. Nothing in my life; no other accomplishment can be greater nor make me happier than the role of Mother.

For all of these opportunities, I am humbled and grateful to take my dream to the next level and expand the audiences reached. Above all, everything I write and create, every story I tell, is to bring souls to Christ, for it is He who has given me these gifts to share.

Music has always been a part of me. The first memory I have of a specific song piercing my soul was in the third grade in school chorus. We sang "Rainbow Connection" by Kenny Loggins. The tune, the lyrics . . . everything about that song resonated with me, and it was then I knew that music was part of my core. Now I have had the honor of writing many songs and musicals over the years. My kids would brag there is over 200. The truth is, I have lost count. God sends the songs from Heaven, and I simply write them down. I have been blessed to write for weddings, funerals, times of crisis, times of joy. I have written to let someone know God loves them, and to help myself remember that He loves me as well. I write to tell your stories. I write to share your hope.
